Before Starting

All users should read and understand the safety information in this manual before operating the equipment. If
equipment is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided by the equipment may
be impaired.
Before operating the laser, check the coolant lines between the chiller and the Tiberius laser head. Power on the
chiller and verify that the coolant is running and that there are no leaks. Then power on the Tiberius Controller
and the Pump Laser Controller. In addition, verify the PACU is running at about 2.5 L/min.

Controller Communication

To connect and communicate with the Tiberius controller, there are two ports on the back panel of the controller
(ETH and PUMP .0). Refer to section "4.1 Connections" for the location of these ports. This allows the following
two connection scenarios:
1. Direct connection to a PC or similar device – The "PUMP.0" port is configured with a static IP address of
172.16.1.1 with a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0
2. Connection to a Local Area Network (LAN) – The "ETH" port is configured as Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol (DHCP). DHCP is a method used to automatically assign temporary IP addresses on compatible
LANs.
