Camera Module Installation
If this part is being replaced, a new part should be used in the place of the old part when
performing the following steps.
Tools needed to perform the following steps:

NOTE!
1. Remove the old adhesive film that is mounted
around the receiver port.
NOTE!
2. Obtain a new adhesive film and orient it so that it
corresponds to the shape of the recess around the
receiver port.
3. Insert the adhesive film into its recess and press it
into place using your finger to ensure a good
adhesive bond is formed to the inner flip cover.
4. Remove the protective covering from the adhesive
film
NOTE!
5. Position the camera module so that the camera
portion of the module is over the top of its square
recess area on the interior surface of the inner flip
cover.

following instructions, but an operator may find it helpful to use that tool when performing some
steps of the following procedure.
Whenever the phrase "pry tool" is used, a nylon pointer, an orangewood stick, or a front opening
tool may be used, depending on the user's preference.
Make sure that all adhesive residue is
removed. Carefully clean off any residue
from around the receiver port with alcohol
and a lint-free wipe.
Make sure not to get finger prints, dust, or
dirt on the camera lens.
