1. Remove the flip bumper strip from the inner base
cover.

If this part is being replaced, a new part should be used in the place of the old part when
performing the following steps.
Tools needed to perform the following steps:
NOTE!
1. Orient the inner base cover so its inner surface is
facing upward.
