Acclimatizing the Device

If the device is moved from one location to another location and the tempe-
rature at the current location is lower than the temprature at the next loca-
tion: The temperature difference can lead to condensation from humidity in
the device (moisture formation). Moisture in the device can lead to malfun-
ctions. To avoid malfunctions the device must be acclimatized.
Vorgehen
If the device was stored or used at a lower temperature than the tempe-
t
rature at the installation site where the device is intended to be used
next: Acclimatize the device. To do so, carry out the following acclimatiz-
ation steps:
Acclimatization step
1. Switch on the device at the current location.
2. Leave the device switched on for at least one hour.
3. Switch the device off.
4. Disconnect the power supply cable and potential
equalization cable from the power supply at the
current location and secure to the device's cable
reel.
5. Immediately move the device to the next location
where the device is intended to be used.
6. Immediately connect the mains plug of the power
supply cable and potential equalization cable to the
power supply at the installation site.
7. Switch on the device on.
8. Leave the device switched on for at least one hour.
Once this waiting time has elapsed, processes can
be carried out on the device.

Switching the Device On or Off

Procedure
WARNING Risk of injury due to electric shock in the event of poten-

tial equalization failure! The potential equalization cable must be con-
nected (see Chapter "6.1.1", Page30).
To switch the device on:

Press the on-off switch so that it is in the "I" position.
t
Wait until the main menu is shown.
t
To switch the device off: Press the on-off switch so that it is in the "0"
t
position.
