9.1

Cleaning Device Surfaces

Requirements
The device is removed from the Palletank

Procedure
CAUTION Risk of injury due to uncontrolled rolling away of the

device! Place it on a level surface and secure the brakes. Wear personal
protective equipment.
Turn the device off.
t
Disconnect the power supply cable from the power supply at the
t
installation site.
If the device is connected to an external control system or other system:
t
Remove the connection cable and close the connection with the closing
cap.
NOTICE Corrosion or damage to the device due to unsuitable cleaning
t
agents!
Do not use corrosive, chloride-containing, and aggressive cleaning
t
agents.
Do not use cleaning agents that contain abrasive ingredients, e.g.
t
scouring agents, steel wool.
Do not use solvent-based cleaning agents.
t
Only use suitable cleaning agents (materials see Chapter "15.8
t
Materials", page 59) and observe the product information for the
cleaning agent used.
WARNING Risk of injury due to hot surfaces! Allow the motor to cool
t
down.
Wipe the housing with a slightly damp cloth. Use a mild soapy solution or
t
a suitable cleaning agent for more severe contamination.
