The function detects the industrial waste gas and triggers alarm actions.

5.1 Set Waste Gas Detection

Before You Start
Go to Configuration → System → Maintenance → VCA Resource Type, select Temperature
Measurement+Fire Detection.
Steps
1. Go to Configuration → Local.
2. Check Display Waste Gas Info..
3. Go to Configuration → Event → Smart Event → Waste Gas Monitoring.
4. Check Enable.
5. Check Display Waste Gas Info. on Stream to add waste gas information on stream, and the
overlay will be displayed in live view.
6. Set the detection sensitivity. The higher the value is, the easier the waste gas can be detected.
7. Enable Cancel Repeated Alarm to alarm only once if the waste gas is detected at the same
preset.
8. Set the monitoring area.
1) Call a preset.
2) Select one monitoring area ID, and left click the mouse on live view to draw a detection area.
Right click the mouse to finish drawing.
3) Edit the monitoring area name.
4) Click Clear All to clear all the areas you set without saving them.
9. Refer to Set Arming Schedule for setting scheduled time. Refer to Linkage Method Settings for
setting linkage method.
10. Click Save.
