Focus on microscope cannot
be adjusted.
The image appears shaded through the
microscope at the edges and the
illumination field is outside the
field of vision.

Photographs/TV pictures unfocussed.
The photographs have a blue tone.

Cause
The weight disk which you are using on
the D-axis cannot balance installed
accessories.
Leica M525 OH4 was balanced in the
transport position.
Multifocus switch is "on".
Accessories not installed exactly.
Cause
Microscope or Zoom Video Adapter
not precisely focussed.
Zoom Video Adapter is not set parfocal.
An incorrect film was used.

Remedy
➩Changing the weight disk on the D axis
(see page 33).
➩Move the Leica M525 OH4 out of the
transport position and balance it again.
➩Switch off the multifocus (see page 42).
Exception: you are using a laser
micromanipulator which has this function
as a safety precaution.
➩Install the accessories exactly in
the holders (see page 22).
Remedy
➩Focus precisely, insert graticule if
necessary.
➩Perform diopter correction exactly
as instructed.
➩Set the Zoom Video Adapter
parfocal as instructed.
➩Load daylight film.
