Correcting the D-balancing manually
The internal weight (3) in the stand balances the weight of the
surgical microscope and the installed accessories.
It may be necessary to correct the D-balancing after
fitting a sterile drape on the microscope.

The D-balancing of the stand can be corrected with the "+" and
"-" keys on the "Main" screen of the control unit.
"+" key:
correction for higher load on the optical carrier
"-" key:
correction for reduced load on the optical carrier
To balance the D-axis when using accessories with dif-
ferent weights, the number of D-axis weight disks can
be adapted accordingly (see below).
