Disconnecting Inverter

Danger of burns!
Even if the inverter is shut down, it may still be hot and cause burns. Wear protec-
tive gloves before operating the inverter after it cools down.
For maintenance or other service work, the inverter must be switched off.
Proceed as follows to disconnect the inverter from the AC and DC power sources. Lethal
voltages or damage to the inverter will follow if otherwise.
step 1 Disconnect the external AC circuit breaker and prevent it from inadvertent reconnection
step 2 Rotate the DC switch to the "OFF" position for disconnecting all of the PV string inputs.
step 3 Wait about 10 minutes until the capacitors inside the inverter completely discharge.
step 4 Ensure that the DC cable is current-free with a current clamp.

Dismantling the Inverter

Risk of burn injuries and electric shock!
After the inverter is powered off for 10 minutes, measure the voltage and current
with professional instrument. Only when there is no voltage nor current can opera-
tors who wear protective equipment operate and maintain the inverter.
Before dismantling the inverter, disconnect the inverter from both AC and DC
power sources.
If there are more than two layers of inverter DC terminals, dismantle the outer
DC connectors before dismantling the inner ones.
If the original packing materials are available, put the inverter inside them and
then seal them using adhesive tape. If the original packing materials are not
available, put the inverter inside a cardboard box suitable for the weight and
size of this inverter and seal it properly.
