IP/RIP

These options are not available from the front panel.
The Routing Information Protocol (RIP) is supported by the ISU 512e.
However, since the ISU 512e only hosts IP traffic, RIP advertisements
are listened to but never transmitted. The following parameters are re-
quired for setting up RIP on the Ethernet port:

RIP/Mode

This option turns RIP O

RIP/Protocol

Version can be V1 (def) or V2.

RIP/V2 Secret

This is a text string used for authenticating advertised routes.

IP/Utilities

The ISU 512e has utilities embedded in it to help manage and test the
network and to facilitate software upgrades.

Utilities/Ping

This option is not available from the front panel.
