The V.35 O
menu (see Figure 6-5) is used to select the configu-
PTIONS
ration parameters that control the operation of the DTE interface port
of the ISU 512e.

V.35 Options/Maximum Bit Rate

This field sets the maximum bit rate at which the V.35 operates. There
are eight multiples of 64K (64K through 512K) and eight multiples of
56K (56K through 448K). Selecting a 64K rate changes the C

V.35 Options/CTS Options

Selecting F
CTS causes the CTS signal on the DTE connector to
ORCED
be continually asserted. F
RTS (def) causes the CTS signal to

follow the state of the RTS lead. F
CD causes the CTS signal to

follow the state of the CD lead. O
V.25 ANSR drives CTS off while
FF
answering a call with V.25 bis dialing enabled. This setting is used for
Panasonic video-conferencing equipment with V.25 bis dialing en-
abled.
