Chapter 6. Configuration Menu

IP/Static Routes

Static routes can be inserted under this menu.
These options are not available from the front panel.

Static Routes/Active

Adds this static route entry to the IP routing table when set to Y
ES
(def) and removes it (if it was previously added) if set to N
.

Static Routes/IP Address

This is the IP address of the host or network address of the network.

Static Routes/Subnet Mask

This mask determines the bits in the previous IP address that are used.
If this is to be a host route, it must be set to all ones (255.255.255.255).

Static Routes/Gateway

This is the IP address of the router to receive the forwarded IP packet.

Static Routes/Hops

This is the number of router hops required to get to the network or
host. Maximum distance is 15 hops.
