9-2. CPLD Version Upgrade by CPLD Writer (VFK1590)

9-2-1. Connection

1. Connect the D-sub cable between the CPLD writer and personal computer as shown in figure 9-2A-1.
The reference number of D-sub connector can be referred by table 9-2A-2.
2. Connect the CPLD writer cable to the connector on the CPLD writer (VFK1590) as shown in figure
9-2A-1. The part number of cable and reference number of connector can be referred by table 9-2A-2.

3. Connect the PLD writer cable from the PLD writer to the connector on the Board to be upgraded as
shown in the table 9-2A-3.
4. Turn on the VTR power and Personal Computer.
