Fuel tank, fuel pump module, and fuel hose
TIP
• If the fuel hose quick connector 2 is not
installed completely onto the fuel pipe 1, the
locking slider 3 cannot be pushed down.
• Confirm that the fuel hose quick connector is
correctly installed by making sure there is a
small amount of free play when the quick
connector is pulled and pushed.
• If there is no free play in the fuel hose quick
connector, disconnect the fuel hose and
check the O-ring for damage and proper
installation.

1. Measure:
• Fuel pressure

Measurement steps:
1. Disconnect the quick connector from the
fuel rail.
2. Install the special service tools 1 and 2
as shown.

3. Start the engine and allow it to warm up for
5 minutes.
4. Measure the fuel pressure.

Out of specification → Replace the fuel
pump module assembly.
