Illuminates yellow when exhaust components are operating under normal conditions
and exhaust gases temperature is extremely high. This condition is normal when the
post-treatment system is regenerating. When stopping the vehicle, stay away from
flammable materials, vapors and structures or TURN ENGINE OFF.
Illuminates yellow (continuous or intermittent) to indicate the necessity of regene-
ration of diesel particulate filter. The operators must follow the instructions on the
(DPF)
windshield decal.
Illuminates yellow. The malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) alerts the vehicle operator by
illuminating when improper emissions are detected. This lamp is used together with
other warning lights or generic texts and warning messages. A technician can use the
trouble codes (DTC) to determine the cause.
