Section 5—Attachments
Mechanical Coupler
This installation procedure is designed for one-person operation. Prior to exiting cab,
perform "Shut-Down Procedure" on page 4-5.

1. Tilt coupler back to provide clearance. Check to be sure lock pin is removed.
2. Align attachment pin with recess in attachment. Raise boom slightly to engage
attachment pin in recess.
3. Tilt coupler forward to engage attachment.
4. Lift retainer pin (2) and insert lock pin (1) completely through coupler. Release
retainer pin and ensure lock pin is secure.
5. If attachment is equipped, connect auxiliary hydraulic hoses. See "Hydraulic Operated
Attachment" on page 5-12.
6. If equipped, connect auxiliary electric harness.
