Procedure

Flange bolts
Emerson can ship the transmitter with a coplanar flange or a traditional flange installed
with four 1.75-in. flange bolts. Mounting bolts and bolting configurations for the coplanar
and traditional flanges can be found in
Emerson are coated with a lubricant to ease installation. Carbon steel bolts do not require
lubrication. Do not apply additional lubricant when installing either type of bolt. Bolts
supplied by Emerson are identified by their head markings.
