Administrator Password/User Password

This option is for setting a password for accessing the BIOS setup utility. When a password has
been set, a password prompt will be displayed whenever the BIOS setup utility is launched. This
prevents an unauthorized person from changing any part of the system configuration.

When a supervisor password is set, the Password Check option will be unlocked.

Secure Boot

Allows for user to configure and enable/disable the secure boot feature.

Boot Configuration
Boot Settings Configuration has several features that can be run during the system boot sequence.

Setup Prompt Timeout

Number of seconds to wait for the setup activation key. 65535(0xFFFF) means indefinite waiting.

Bootup NumLock State
−
Select the keyboard NumLock state between On and Off.
•
Quiet Boot
−
Enables or disables the Quiet Boot option.
Boot Option Priorities
Boot Option Priorities allows the system to enable/disable the Fast Boot setting.
•
Fast Boot
−
Enables or disables boot with initialization of a minimal set of devices required to launch in the
active boot option. (Has no effect for the BBS (BIOS Boot Specifications) boot options.)
