Indicator Symbols
These are positioned within the
instrument panel, which are used to
indicate either:
Status: A system or control has been
selected, (such as turn signals, cruise
control etc).
Warnings: Potential vehicle system
faults, (such as low brake fluid level,
engine oil level etc).
Indicator Check
To check that all warning systems are
operative, symbols used for warning
alerts illuminate for approximately 3
8 8 8
- 6 seconds when in ignition mode II,
see page 153. If any indicator fails to
illuminate contact your Lotus Retailer
immediately.
Warning Symbol Illumination
A warning symbol flashing constantly
or permanently illuminated whilst
driving may indicate a fault in the
operation of the system concerned.
Do not ignore any illuminated warning
lights; contact your Lotus Retailer
immediately.
