Child Seat Installation
Front Facing Child Seat
When fitting a front facing child seat,
ensure that the passenger airbag is
activated, see page 37.
Rearward Facing Child Seat
Children who are unable to sit up by
themselves unsupported must be car-
ried only in rearward facing child seat.
When fitting a rearward facing child
seat, ensure that the passenger airbag
is deactivated, see page 37.
WARNING: Never use a rearward
facing child seat on the passenger
seat if the airbag is active.

A warning label for the passenger air-
bag system is located on the passenger
side of the headlining above the wind-
screen, or on the sun visor if fitted.
WARNING: Front-facing
passengers (children and adults)
must never sit on the passenger
seat if the passenger airbag is
deactivated.
WARNING: Never allow anybody
to stand or sit in front of the
passenger seat.
WARNING: Failure to follow the
information given regarding
seat belts, child seats and airbag
systems can endanger life or lead
