Do the MASTER level
indicators light on?

Check the audio signals from Pin 9 of IC5604.
And, check the connection between MIC ADC
(IC5604) and DSP (IC2501). If no problem,
replace MAIN Assy.
If not improve, or if no audio signals output
from Pin 9, check the next flow.
Is a waveform
detected at Pins 1, 2
of IC5604?
No

detected at Pins 6, 8 of CN5601 detected at Pins 6, 8 of CN5601
in the AUDIO Assy? in the AUDIO Assy?

The MIC input circuit is normal.

Yes
and "No sound outputs from HP."
If not improve, the AUDIO Assy may be in
failure. Replace AUDIO Assy.
ADC (IC5603) is in failure.
Yes
Replace ADC (IC5603).
If not improve, replace AUDIO Assy.
Check where the signal is interrupted
Yes
between CN5601 and IC5604.
If no problem, replace AUDIO Assy.
Check the connection between MCIN Assy
and AUDIO Assy. And, check it between
MCIN Assy and MCTR Assy.
Check the periphery of the Ope amplifier
(IC7601, IC7602). If no problem, replace the
Ope amplifier.
! MCIN Assy: Replace IC7601, IC7602
If not improve, replace MCIN Assy. If it still
does not improve, replace AUDIO Assy.
