Input the audio signal to the input terminal.
Is switching among PC, LINE Is switching among PC, LINE
and PHONO possible? and PHONO possible?

Do the CH level
indicators right on?
No
Check the audio signals from Pin 9 of IC5204
and Pin 9 of IC5404. If there are its, no audio
signals input for DSP (IC2501). Check the
connection between ADC (IC5204/IC5404)
and DSP (IC2501). If no problem, replace
MAIN Assy.
If not improve, or if no audio signal output
from Pin 9, check the next flow.
Is a waveform Is a waveform
detected at Pins 1, 2 of IC5204 detected at Pins 1, 2 of IC5204
and at Pins 1, 2 of IC5404? and at Pins 1, 2 of IC5404?
No
Input the audio signal to the input terminal.
Is switching ON/OFF Is switching ON/OFF
of AUX possible? of AUX possible?

Do the MASTER level
indicators right on?
No
Check the audio signals from Pin 9 of IC5603.
And, check the connection between AUX ADC
(IC5603) and DSP (IC2501). If no problem,
replace MAIN Assy.
If not improve, or if no audio signals output
from Pin 9, check the next flow.
Is a waveform Is a waveform

(Pins 1, 2 of IC5603)? (Pins 1, 2 of IC5603)?

and "No sound outputs from HP."
If not improve, the AUDIO Assy may be in
failure. Replace it.

ADC (IC5204, IC5404) is in failure.
Replace ADC (IC5204, IC5404).
Check where the signal is interrupted.
! Ch3 side : Check the periphery of IC5202
and IC5203. If no problem, replace the
Ope amplifier.
AUDIO Assy: Replace IC5202, IC5203
! Ch4 side : Check the periphery of IC5402
and IC5403. If no problem, replace the
Ope amplifier.
AUDIO Assy: Replace IC5402, IC5403
If not improve, replace AUDIO Assy.

If not improve, the AUDIO Assy may be in
failure. Replace AUDIO Assy.

If not improve, replace AUDIO Assy.
Check where the signal is interrupted.
Check the periphery of IC5601 and IC5602.
If no problem, replace the Ope amplifier.
! AUDIO Assy: Replace IC5601, IC5602
If not improve, the AUDIO Assy may be in
failure. Replace AUDIO Assy.
