Direction
Intermec Direct Protocol allows printing in four directions. You
can rotate the printable object clockwise around the anchor
point/insertion point with a 90° increment (0°, 90°, 180°, or
270°) by means of a DIR command:

DIR rotates all following printable fi elds so that they are printed
across the media path and upside down with respect to the
way the media is fed out of the printer. This illustration sum-
marizes the three general formatting commands PRPOS|PP,
ALIGN|AN, and DIR:
