The threshold that is reached can be used to select an optimum control system for the Ottobock
prosthetic components (DMC, DMC Plus etc.).
Settings
The muscle signal that is displayed can be influenced by
changing the electrode positioning, and
changing the electrode settings.
INFORMATION
► The electrodes are to be placed on intact skin only and with as much electrode-skin contact as
possible.
► In case of strong interference from electronic devices, the position of the electrodes should be
checked and changed if necessary.
► If interference cannot be eliminated, please contact the Ottobock branch responsible for your
country.
► Allow the patient to rest during the adjustment of the electrodes. Muscle fatigue leads to
inconsistent results, and therefore the therapist will tend to establish electrode settings that are
excessively sensitive.
INFORMATION
Read the corresponding instructions for use before changing the electrode properties and posi­
tioning.
8 Cleaning
1) Clean the product with a damp, soft cloth.
2) Dry the product with a soft cloth.
3) Allow to air dry in order to remove residual moisture.
9 Maintenance
Check the plug connections for firm fit at regular intervals.
