Use of unapproved accessories

Limited function due to product malfunction as a result of reduced interference resistance.

Use the product only in combination with the accessories, signal converters and cables lis­
ted in the section "Combination possibilities" (see page 12).
The use of USB extensions is not recommended, since it can lead to disturbances.

6 Preparing the product for use
6.1 Establishing the power supply
Power for the product is supplied by 2 AAA batteries. The batteries can be replaced by the user
as needed.
1) Remove the cover on the back of the case.
2) Insert the batteries. Ensure correct polarity.
3) Close the cover.
The current charge level of the batteries is displayed via the operating indicator (item 6) (see
page 18).
6.2 Establishing the electrode connection
► Connect the electrode cables at the top of the case. Ensure correct polarity.
7 Use
7.1 Switching the product on and off
Switching on the product
► Press the ON/OFF button.
→ The product performs a self-test.
→ Now the product is ready to use.
INFORMATION
If the product switches off during the self-test, the charge level of the batteries is too low. The
batteries must be replaced.
Switching off the product
► Press the ON/OFF button and hold it for more than 3 seconds.
→ The product is switched off.
Energy-saving mode
The product switches off automatically after 2 minutes if there is no electrode signal.
If the battery charge level is insufficient, the product switches off automatically.
7.2 Displays and settings
Display
Myoelectric patient muscle signals are recorded by connected electrodes and shown by a LED
bar.
The LED bar is divided into three thresholds which show the generated muscle signals:
