Locating
bolt
(item 10)
Prerequisite: The position of the adjustment lever (item 13) on the orthotic
joint is set to green. The area in the spring force display (item 4) on the
dynamic unit is white.
1) Screw the locating bolt (item 10) into the threaded bore (item 11) of the
orthotic joint and tighten it (observe the torque, see previous table).
2) Grease the guide axle (item 1) with 633F7 lubricant.
3) Insert the dynamic unit and the guide axle (item 1) into the locating bore
(item 12) of the orthotic joint. INFORMATION: The joint adapter
(item 9) is positioned on the locating bolt (item 10).
4) Insert the countersunk head screw (item 5) through the bore hole
(item 2) and screw it into the orthotic joint (item 14). Secure the screw
with Loctite 241.
→ The dynamic unit is fastened to the orthotic joint.

how to operate the temporary locking mechanism.

Adjusting the spring force
1) Insert an Allen key (size: 3 mm) into the hollow screw (item 8).
2) Set the desired spring force from levels 1 through 7.
