IGNITION SYSTEM

HANDLEBAR SWITCH (RIGHT)

Engine stop switch and throttle switch
1. Disconnect:
S Handlebar switch (right) coupler
2. Connect:
S Pocket tester
3. Check:
S Engine stop switch continuity
Faulty ! Replace the handlebar switch
(right).
Switch position
RUN (pulled out)
OFF (pushed in)
4. Check:
S Throttle switch continuity
Faulty ! Replace the handlebar switch
(right).
Throttle switch
position
Throttle lever is
operated.
Throttle lever is not
operated.

CARBURETOR SWITCH

1. Disconnect:
S Carburetor switch lead
2. Connect:
S Pocket tester
3. Check:
S Carburetor switch continuity
Faulty ! Replace.
Carburetor switch

Throttle lever is
operated.
Throttle lever is not
operated.
