UPMIX CONTROL (+UMX ONLY)

The Upmix Control tab is used to perform a stereo to 5.1 PCM audio up mix. The module has the
capability to detect between stereo and 5.1 incoming content to ensure there is a constant 5.1 output.

6.8.1. Setting the Upmix Mode

The Upmix Mode control sets the operating mode of the upmixing engine. It has the following options:
Auto Up Mix
Force Up Mix
Disable Up Mix

When set to Auto Up Mix, the upmix processor will pass-through 5.1 content if
present otherwise it will upmix the audio pair chosen from the Upmix Source
option.
When set to Force Up Mix, it will upmix the audio pair chosen from the Upmix
Source option and use the upmix channels on the output.
When set to Disable Up Mix, the upmix processor will pass-through 5.1
content.
