5. Circulation System is Loud (cont.)
IF the pump is not wired correctly this may cause excessive noise. Also cavitation
(resulting from a flow restriction on the suction-side) OR a restriction on the pressure-
side, can increase noise and may put unnecessary strain pump.
Verify Booster Pump Wiring
Inspect Suction & Pressure-side
Step 5E
Step 5F
Verify the booster pump wiring matches the
Inspect valves on both the suction & pressure sides. IF
instructions outlined in the installation manual. IF the
valves are restricting flow, correcting this may improve
pump is not wired correctly, shut down the system &
the booster pump's operation. IF OK & problem
correct. IF wiring is correct, proceed to step 5F.

*NOTE: Restricting flow on either the suction or pressure side may cause damage to
the booster pump and/or other parts of the circulation system.
