1. 'SYS ERR' Appears on Display (cont.)
High chlorine residuals may cause the UV efficiency reading to be lower than
expected. An imbalance in water chemistry should be corrected before replacing
hardware.

Test the water chemistry, following the table on page
Press & hold the menu button, until the 'CLr' appears.
14. High levels of chlorine can lower lamp readings. IF
Press the down arrow repeatedly until 'run' appears,
water chemistry is not fully balanced, correct this and
then press enter. IF service hours are 9,000 *(900.) or
retest (30 minutes). IF chemistry is balanced, proceed
greater, replace lamps. IF not, contact tech support
to step 1D.

*NOTE: Lamp hours will appear in standard units up to 999 hours. Numbers greater
than 999 will appear in tens, with a decimal at the end (for example 1,000 hours will
appear as 100.).
