Inspection
It is very important to regularly check the machine, in order to detect and prevent
wear and tear, damage, etc.
WARNING!
TO AVOID UNEXPECTED START, TURN OFF THE ENGINE AND PULL OUT THE CORD
Never use damaged machine to avoid injuries. If excessive vibration or
smoke occurs, stop immediately and inspect the machine. Fix the problem
before the machine is used again.
LUBRICATION OF THE MACHINE:
•
Lubricate Band wheel shafts with grease and lubricate the stabilizer bars for raising and
lowering of the carriage and the crankshaft with oil before each use.
•
Lubricate the tension handles with grease once a month
Before storing the machine, it might be good to perform service to make sure that the
machine works the following season.
•
Paint the machine if needed, to prevent rusting
•
Check if the machine is damaged, tighten all bolts and nuts
•
Lubricate all grease fittings and joints
•
Store in a dry, clean place, cover for extra protection
•
Oil the blades and fasteners to prevent rust.
INSPECTION OF BELT
First control and tensioning of the belt shall be done after 1 hour of driving to be sure that the
belt is properly tensioned. Check the belt regularly and tighten as necessary. Correct belt ten-
sion; the pressure belt should be moved 20 mm (10 mm on each side).
ALWAYS STOP THE ENGINE BEFORE STARTING MAINTENANCE /SERVICE.
