8.1.7 Cleaning and servicing foot control
▶ Clean the foot control periodically of contaminants such as dust, etc., de-
pending on the environment.
▶ Use a lint-free, damp cloth for cleaning.
▶ Never use any solvents for cleaning.
The foot control is not suitable for a machine cleaning and sterilisation proced-
ures (steam/gamma or e-beam).
▶ Periodically visually inspect the housing shell for integrity.
8.1.8 Terms of Use foot control
The foot control may not be altered without the manufacturer's permission. Any
modification of the foot control assembly will void the conformity, as well as any
warranty claim! The user is responsible for the proper and professional use of
the foot control. The foot control must not be operated or used outside of the
above specifications! Please always pay attention to a clean environment at the
location or place of installation of the foot control, because surrounding parts
(between pedal and base) could block the foot control from the outside.
