7.2 Preparations at the site of use

Hazard from contaminated products.
Contaminated products are associated with an infection hazard.
▶ Take suitable personal protective measures.
▶ Pull off the USB plug of the medical device.
▶ Reprocess the medical device as soon as possible after treatment.
▶ The medical device must be dry when transported to reprocessing.
▶ To minimise the risk of infection during reprocessing, always wear protect-
ive gloves.
▶ Remove gross soiling immediately.
▶ Do not place in solutions or similar substances.

7.3 Disassembly

Incomplete reprocessing.
Infection hazard.
▶ To ensure complete reprocessing of all parts, camera, tip and Fluorescence
Cover need to be removed before reprocessing.
