3 Lift the floppy drive straight up to remove it from the
floppy carrier, as shown in Figure 36.

Removing the Floppy Disk Drive

When replacing the floppy drive in the carrier,
make sure to align the pin in the carrier with the
hole in the floppy drive. See Figure 33.
When replacing the floppy carrier in the storage
tray, set the mounting pins near the front of the
storage tray in place first, then push the carrier
toward the front of the storage tray slightly and set
the rear mounting pins in place. Push down firmly
on the rear of the carrier to ensure that the carrier is
fully locked in place.
