If you are in an active call and an incoming call arrives on the same or a different line, the
incoming call information is displayed on the LCD screen.
Procedure:
Press Answer.

The incoming call is answered and the original call is placed on hold.
If the phone just plays a warning tone instead of displaying the incoming call information, you
can only answer the incoming call after ending the current call. It is configurable by your system
administrator.
The call waiting should be enabled first, otherwise, the incoming call is automatically rejected by
the phone with a busy message when there is an active call on the phone. For more information,

You can enable auto answer feature to automatically answer an incoming call using the
speakerphone. Auto answer is configurable on a per-line basis.
You can choose to mute the local microphone when an incoming call is answered automatically.
Procedure:
Navigate to Menu->Features->Auto Answer.
1.
Select a desired line.
2.
For the SIP-T42S/T42G/T41S/T41P/T40G/T40P IP phone, select a desired line from the Line
ID field.
Select Enabled from the Auto Answer field.
3.
For the SIP-T48S/T48G IP phone, tap the On radio box of the desired registered line.
