The fiber connecting socket (Fig. 6.1, (4)) serves to
connect laser fibers featuring an SMAplus plug.
The fiber plug is constantly monitored for correct
connection.
Only when a laser fiber has been correctly connected can
the unit be switched to LASER READY.
 The Luer-lock socket (Fig. 6.1, (5)) is located next to
the SMAplus laser fiber connecting socket.
 It is to be used for connecting the sterile air filter
(see also section 6.7.1 "Connecting the Sterile Air
Filter", page 51).
 NOTE
The purge air emitted from the Luer-Lock socket may
only be used for purging laser application parts.
