Setting up the Limax

The unit must be set up so that the mains cables can be easily disconnected on the rear panel
of the unit.
NOTICE
Before switching on the unit, allow it to accommodate to the temperature of the room in
which it is to be used. If this is not the case, it will not be possible to start the unit (error
message displayed). Such accommodation typically requires 24 hours.
After relocating the unit, please also make sure that it has accommodated to ambient
temperature before putting it into operation.
NOTICE
Cooling water
Prior to switching it on, check that the laser has been filled with cooling water. If it is turned
on without cooling water, a corresponding message will be displayed and the unit will not be
ready for operation. In this case, please contact the Martin Service Center. Since our lasers
are routinely shipped without cooling water, the unit must be filled with cooling water by our
Technical Service during the installation procedure. As long as no such installation has taken
place, the unit will not be ready for use.
Ensure sufficient ventilation:
The cooling slots provided on the front side of the unit must be kept free from obstruction
by tablecloths, towels, curtains or other objects.
To ensure proper cooling of the laser, an all-around distance of 20 cm must be maintained
between the unit and neighboring walls.
