Interlock / Warning Connector
CAUTION
Potential danger when using the door interlock function!
Unintended interruption of the treatment caused by door opening can lead to a dangerous
situation for patients!
NOTICE
It is not possible to activate the Limax
plug.

Connector for interlock / warning connector (Fig. 5.5, (7)):
Interlock / Warning
This connector offers you two functions:
The illustration shows the soldering side of the 7-pole
interlock / warning connector.
(1) Door interlock
If a door contact switch has been connected here, the
unit automatically stops laser light emission as soon as
the door is opened.
As a result, the following message is displayed:
INT_LOCK ERROR
(2) Warning lamp contact
This contact turns on the warning lamps as soon as the
laser unit is switched on (keylock switch set to "I").
Laser warning lamps should be installed over all doors
providing access to the laser area. The floating
switching contact (max. 48 V, 1 A) can be used via the
(red) interlock plug supplied.
Use of the red interlock plug (jumper plug) supplied.
— Door opening does no longer switch the unit to standby
mode.
— The laser treatment can be continued without
interruption.
