Adjusting Programs

The active program can be changed and saved.
Select the program you wish to modify (see
also section 6.15.2 "Selecting Programs",
page 59).
Select the > Laser power field with
the rotary switch and adjust as required
(5 – 60 W).
As soon as a laser parameter of the current
program has been changed, the notice
modified will be displayed to the right of
the name of the program.
Select the operating mode of your choice
> Continuous
The set laser power is emitted continuously
while holding down the foot switch.
> Single pulse
Upon operating the foot switch, exactly one
pulse of the set length is emitted. Releasing
the foot switch prematurely terminates the
pulse at once.
> Pulse mode (train)
Pulses of the set length are repeated as long
as the foot switch is held down, with pauses
between them as defined.
Depending on the selected pulse mode, up to
two pulse parameters can be set:
Pulse duration (0.1 s – 10 s)
Sets the length of one laser pulse.
Pulse pause (0.1 s – 10 s)
Sets the pause between two pulses in pulse
mode.
In addition, the "work airflow AIR" parameter
can be adjusted right at the main level:
> Work flow AIR (10% – 100%)
Sets purge air flow intensity
