Connecting the Focusing Handpiece / Applicator

The procedures for connecting a focusing handpiece or other accessory applicators are
basically the same. For more detailed application instructions, please refer to the product-
specific Instructions for Use.
CAUTION
Danger of injury in the event of misuse!
AIR (purge air) may only be used if a sterile air filter has been installed!
 First connect the sterile air filter to the Luer-lock socket on the front panel of the

Limax 60.
 Thereafter, connect the focusing handpiece/applicators.
CAUTION
Danger of tissue damage!
AIR (purge air) may not be used for purposes other than purging the focusing
handpiece/applicators!

Prior to each use of the purge air function, make sure
that a sterile air filter has been directly connected to
the Luer-lock socket of the Limax
section 6.1.6 "Luer-Lock Socket for AIR (Purge Air)" ,
page 41). This filter also has a Luer-lock socket.
