Connecting the Focusing Handpiece

AIR connecting tube (4)
CAUTION
Danger of tissue damage!
When using purge air, be sure to prevent it from penetrating into the tissue.

60 with a supply fiber alone (i.e. without focusing handpiece!
1 Supply fiber
2 SMAplus plug
3 Luer-lock plug of AIR connecting tube
4 AIR connecting tube
5 Luer-lock socket sterile air filter
The supply fiber (1) connects the Limax
the focusing handpiece.
To make the connection to the AIR (purge air)
system, connect one end of the AIR connecting
tube (4) to the Luer-lock socket of the
sterile air filter (5) and the other end to the
Luer-lock plug (3) of the SMAplus plug (2) of the
supply fiber (1).
