In order to carry out a successful cleaning procedure that has been
tested and is recommended by ABB Turbo Systems, the following pre-
requisite must be met:
Engine load 25 ... 85%
w
If the engine compartment temperature is less than 0°C during wet
w
cleaning of the compressor, precautionary measures must be taken
to prevent ice formation.
Start cleaning cycle according to following description Wet cleaning
u
operation with XC3.
Operating procedure for compressor wet cleaning with XC3
The operating state prerequisites for compressor cleaning with XC3
u
must be fulfilled.
Remove sealing plug (X).
u
Fill vessel with required volume of clean water (see table Cleaning
u
parameters).
Screw in sealing plug (X).
