WARNING
Risk of injury due to sharp edges on the compressor wheel
The compressor wheel has sharp edges which can cause injuries.
Wear safety gloves.

Wear safety gloves to protect against mechanical hazards.
Measure and note the axial clearance (A).
u
CAUTION
If the axial clearance A is out of tolerance, an ABB Turbocharging Ser-
vice Station must be contacted.
Unscrew nuts (74027) and remove them together with washers
u
(74018).
Fit the filter silencer and fasten it using the nuts (74027) and the
u
washers (74018) (see the section Removing and installing the filter
silencer).
Connect all air lines in accordance with the enginebuilder's instruc-
u
tions.
Fit all the insulation which was previously removed.
