■ Uninstalling the USB driver— continued

q Start Windows.
• When uninstalling the driver, log in as the administrator.
w Connect the PC and the ID-RP2D [SERVICE] connec-
tor with a USB cable
(A-B type: purchase separately)
e Move the mouse pointer at the left-bottom corner of
the desktop.
Click the Windows "START" icon, right-click "Com-
puter" in the <Start> menu, and then click "Proper-
ties."
r The "Control Panel Home" window will appear.
Click "Device Manager."
• The "Device Manager" window appears.
t Double-click "Ports (COM&LPT)" on the "Device
Manager" screen.
• "ICOM ID-RP2D SERVICE (COMM)" appears.
y Right-click
"ICOM ID-RP2D SERVICE (COMM)"
then click "Uninstall."
u The "Confirm Device Uninstall" window will appear.
Check "Delete the driver software for this device."
and then click [OK].

i Double-click "Universal Serial Bus controllers" on
the "Device Manager" screen.
• "ICOM ID-RP2D SERVICE" appears.
o Right-click "ICOM ID-RP2D SERVICE" and then
click "Uninstall."
!0 The "Confirm Device Uninstall" window will appear.
Check "Delete the driver software for this device."
and then click [OK].
