Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.

dishwasher puts the person carrying
out the repairs and the user in danger.
Only authorised specialists may re-

Only carry out the actions which are

Never repair defective dishwashers –

or dishwashers which you presume to
be defective – yourself. You can en-
danger yourself and subsequent us-
ers.
Problems with operation

Possible cause
This is not an appliance fault. See „Signal tones" on page EN-17.

This is not an appliance fault. The door opens automatically at
the end of a programme run to allow the hot steam to escape.
The mains plug has not been
inserted into a socket.
There is no voltage being sup-
plied through the socket.
NOTICE
If water overfl ows, close the water
supply immediately and do this be-
fore contacting the service team (see
page EN-32).
If the water has overfl owed, remove
any water standing in the dishwasher
before restarting a wash programme.
Solution
Connect the mains plug to a
properly installed socket.
Check the fuse. Check the
socket by connecting another
device.
