Power Control Feature

Power consumption of the server can be controlled through the Web console of EXPRESSSCOPE Engine 3
(BMC) or by using NEC ESMPRO Manager. This feature curves the upper limit of the power consumption,
which allows more servers to be installed in the environment where the power consumption is limited.
For settings information, refer to "EXPRESSSCOPE Engine 3 User's Guide" or NEC ESMPRO Manager online
help.

Notes on Using Windows Server 2008

The event shown below will be logged in Event Viewer if power control feature is used on Windows Server 2008.
However, it is the normal operation and the event is logged because the P-State is controlled by the server side.
