The following instructions are a step-by-step method of assembling a 4505 Phillips Rotary
Harrow.
For most owners, the harrow will come completely pre-assembled.

with the machine, how it is put together, and how it works. This will help you understand the
maintenance and operation of the harrow.
Before commencing assembly, you will require the following tools and equipment:

6 (six) 10" x 10" x 2' long wooden blocks
Ø
Equipment capable of lifting 1000 lbs (i.e. crane hoist, forklift, etc.)
Wrenches ranging in size from 7/16" to 1 1/2". Air impact if possible.

Hammer and measuring equipment.
Ø
Hydraulic jack.

Pry bar
Ø
Pliers
The instructions to follow will make several references to right/left/front/rear locations. For the
purposes of this manual, left and right will refer to the direction viewed from behind the
machine or from the tractor seat looking over your shoulder. Front will refer to the hitch end.

details, etc.
WARNING: Practice extreme caution when assembling the harrow. The
harrow is made of large heavy sections that could injure or kill if dropped!
