15 Commissioning

This section is used to outline the commissioning methodology for the WiMag Vehicle
Detection system.

15.1 Access Point Commissioning

The first step will be to confirm that the access point is operating as expected. The
following steps should be performed on each access point;
1. Connect to the access point using the 'Traffic Dot 2.0' application
2. Enable the map mode.
3. Each detector should have been positioned on the map in its relative position.
4. Confirm each detector 'indication' is a reflection of the sensor's true status.
15.2 Standard interface Card/WiMag Loop Detector Replacement Card
Commissioning
The access points connect to one or more interface card. The following step should
ensure the interface card is receiving the detector information from the appropriate access
point;
1. Connect to the interface card
2. Select the 'Board Test' page on the web interface
