4.20 Vent Starter Pieces

All vent starter pieces for the MODULEX EXT 1500 through 3060 can be purchased directly from the
vent manufacturer.

In the case of PVC venting, the flue venting pipe is affixed to the adapter using RTV liquid silicone and
then clamped with a worm-driven Hose Clamp.
When using non-metallic (plastic) venting materials, use schedule 40 or thicker, single-wall,
uninsulated pipes. When using non-metallic (plastic) vent systems for Canadian installations, per CSA
