BOILER DAMAGE AND OPERATIONAL FAILURES may occur due to insufficient or improper
openings for combustion air and/or ventilation of the boiler room.
Provisions for combustion air and ventilation are always required, regardless of whether combustion
air is taken from the outside (sealed combustion) or inside (room air used as combustion air).
Insufficient ventilation of the boiler room can lead to high air temperatures and result in boiler damage.
